Shipping & Delivery Policy

At The Cartridge Depo South Africa , we aim to process and deliver orders as quickly and efficiently as possible throughout South Africa.

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on South African public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Orders are only dispatched once payment has been successfully received and cleared.
  • Bank transfer (EFT) orders may take additional time to reflect and verify before dispatch.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Standard delivery generally takes approximately 1–2 business days within major cities and metropolitan areas.
  • Regional, remote, or outlying areas may require additional delivery time depending on courier routes and service availability.
  • Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to operational or courier-related delays.

Johannesburg Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available for selected areas within Johannesburg on business days only.

  • Orders placed and paid for before 12:00 PM may qualify for same-day delivery.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM will normally be delivered on the next business day.
  • Same-day delivery is subject to stock availability, driver availability, traffic conditions, and delivery location.
  • Not all Johannesburg areas may qualify for same-day delivery.

Business Days & Delivery Hours

  • Deliveries are made during normal business hours only.
  • No deliveries are made on weekends or South African public holidays unless otherwise arranged in writing.
  • A person must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the order where required.

Delivery Delays

While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • high order volumes;
  • weather conditions;
  • courier operational delays;
  • incorrect delivery information provided by the customer;
  • load shedding, civil unrest, or other events beyond our control.

The Cartridge Depo shall not be held liable for delays caused by third-party courier services or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Delivery Address Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
  • Additional delivery charges may apply if a parcel is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
  • Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the supplied address.

Stock Availability

  • All orders are subject to stock availability at the time of purchase.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, customers will be notified and may choose a replacement product, store credit, or refund.

Inspection Upon Delivery

  • Customers should inspect all parcels upon delivery.
  • Any visible damage, missing items, or incorrect products should be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
