At The Cartridge Depo South Africa , we are committed to supplying quality toner and printer cartridges.

Supplier Warranty

Compatible and remanufactured toner and ink cartridges supplied by The Cartridge Depo include a 30-day limited supplier warranty against manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship.

What the Warranty Covers

  • Manufacturing defects;
  • Faulty cartridge performance during normal intended use;
  • Print quality issues caused directly by cartridge defects;
  • Incorrectly supplied products.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal toner or ink depletion;
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper storage;
  • Incorrect installation or handling;
  • Use in incompatible printers or devices;
  • Physical damage, tampering, or refilling;
  • Electrical or printer-related faults unrelated to the cartridge itself;
  • General wear and tear.

Consumer Protection Act Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to any rights available under the South African Consumer Protection Act (“CPA”).

Under Section 56 of the CPA, consumers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for defective goods within 6 months of purchase where applicable by law.

Warranty Claims

  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • Products may be inspected and tested before approval of a warranty claim.
  • Customers may be requested to provide sample printouts or additional information to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Warranty claims must be reported within a reasonable time after the issue is discovered.

Remedies

Where a valid warranty claim is approved, The Cartridge Depo may provide:

  • a replacement product;
  • repair where applicable; or
  • a refund in accordance with applicable law.

Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Cartridge Depo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products.
